Day 1: Machame Gate to Machame Camp

Elevation: 1,490m to 3,000m (4,890ft to 9,840ft)Hiking Time: 7 hours

Begin your trek through the lush rainforest after registration at the Machame Gate. Reach Machame Camp for your first night on the mountain.

Day 2: Machame Camp to Shira Camp

Elevation: 3,000m to 3,840m (9,840ft to 12,600ft)Hiking Time: 6-7 hours

Hike through the moorlands, reaching the stunning Shira Plateau, with views of Kilimanjaro’s glaciers.

Day 3: Shira Camp to Lava Tower to Barranco Camp

Elevation: 3,840m to 4,630m (12,600ft to 15,190ft), descend to 3,950m (12,960ft)Hiking Time: 7-8 hours

Ascend to Lava Tower for acclimatization before descending to Barranco Camp for the night.

Day 4: Barranco Camp to Karanga Valley

Conquer the Barranco Wall and hike through the Karanga Valley.

Day 5: Karanga Valley to Barafu Camp

Day 6: Summit Day – Barafu Camp to Uhuru Peak to Mweka Camp

Day 7: Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate – Transfer to Arusha

After breakfast, descend to Mweka Gate and drive back to Arusha for a night of rest at The Outpost Lodge.

Day 8: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Accommodation: Maramboi Tented Lodge

Begin your safari with game drives in Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees.

Days 9-11: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

Accommodation: Serengeti Katikati Camp

Travel to the Serengeti and enjoy two full days of game drives. Explore the rich ecosystems, track the Great Migration (seasonal), and spot big predators like lions and cheetahs.

Day 12: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Craterongoro to Serengeti National Park

Day 13: Ngorongoro Crater
